MLA+ shows work from Russia and China at London Design Capital

MLA+ has been invited by New London Architecture (NLA) to be part of ‘London Design Capital – Buildings, Places, Cities’, a major NLA Insight Study, publication and exhibition opening on May 16th at The Building Centre WC1. The work showcases the very best international projects and strategies being developed in London.

The projects on display give an overview of the growing body of work MLA+ has been commissioned to undertake, outside the UK in the last five years.

MLA+ ensure that each building is not only a response to a design brief but also to its context. We spend significant time understanding both the location and the  the cultural context the building will contribute to. This results in architectural solutions that integrate well into their context, adding to the quality of a place and its intrinsic identity.

The development of these and many more projects goes hand in hand with the development of the award winning innovative business model MaccreanorLavington and MLA+ has been evolving. Commended with the AJ100 breakthrough architect of the year award, the company steadily has been growing to a total staff of 140 in offices in London, Rotterdam, St. Petersburg, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro and – most recently – Shenzhen.
