Yana Golubeva and Daniil Veretennikov from MLA+ St.Petersburg are invited to take part in the International Cultural Forum on November 15. At forum they are part of the discussion on the future of the Art park in St. Petersburg.

On November 15, 1pm – 2.30pm, Yana and Daniil will speak about “Public Spaces Today as a Way to Revitalize Urban Territories” at the International Cultural Forum in Saint Petersburg.

The public space creation boom in Russia has coincided with the need to fully utilize available ubran resources. In the process the stakeholders of the project discovered that creating public “third places” was an effective way for their revitalization.

As a large park project gets underway on the spot where the Court Quarters had been originally planned, the participants of the event will discuss the experience of revitalizing city territories together with the authors of the Zaryadye Park Project, the Boris Eifman Theatre Project, which will be located in the new park, and other public spaces in Saint Petersburg.
