Business class housing – and a lot more

Panavto Residential Complex

Location: Moscow, Russia
Client:
 AB Development

Program:
20.000m², 120 apartments, swimming pool, commercial units

MLA+ was approached by a land owner to conceptualize a high-density apartment building in rapidly transforming neighbourhood. The architectural design seeks to create a lasting value by bringing the best attitudes of classic and modern architecture together.
Two residential towers of 12 and 20 floors rise out of a plinth that relates in height to the existing city fabric. The higher ground floor includes commercial units and a private swimming pool. The welcoming lobby opens up corner of the block and connects to a landscaped courtyard. The architectural expression of the building marries the quality of material and detail of classic architecture with modern technologies such as prefabrication.
