A new cluster

Hotel and Office Towers at Yantai Road

Location: Rizhao, China
Client: Confidential

Program:
Architectural Concept for a 102.000 m2 mix-use complex including offices, hotel, conference centre and supporting facilities

The mixed use complex is located on a newly emerging axis, connecting the city center of Rizhao with the waterfront. The masterplan foresees two rows of highrise buildings to flank the green axis. Yantai road towers form part of this larger ensemble but also have their own, local logic.

The layout establishes a public route through the site, connecting residential neighbourhoods to the south with the linear park. The two triangular towers – one an office tower, the other a 5* hotel – flank this route, create an urban plaza and form a distinctive ensemble.

Stages:
2014 Concept
